Accommodation

1) Most convenient

The most convenient way to find an accommodation is to look for an apartment or a B&B and share the place with other Go players. We recommend that you do that as soon as possible, because July-August is high season in Pisa, and prices tend to go up quickly as time passes.

2) Special accommodation offer S.M.S.

This is a good opportunity for reasonably priced rooms. If you have not booked a room in Pisa yet, have a look here.

3) Special deals for the congress

Breakfast, VAT, WiFi, limited parking included. 33 minutes walking time (a nice walk along the river). No cancellation fee up to 48 hours before day of arrival. 4) A selection of rooms/apartments for groups

Here you can find a list of places with rates ranging from 15€ – 36€ per person per night, that we have found for you using Booking, Trivago, Homeaway and Airbnb. The indicated rates refer to rooms for 4 adults and 1 child, in the dates 29 July – 6 August 2018. As of 10 January 2018, we counted 225 places still available. Please, note that this is an unformatted list.

5) Looking by yourself

If you find yourself confident with searching yourself on the web, it is a good idea to look on these specialised sites:

Beware that in general the rates do not include the local city tax, at the moment 2€ per person per day In Pisa downtown, max 5 days.

Would you like the idea of a whole house for your family for free? Then, consider a home exchange: it is possible using specialised sites like HomeExchange.

6) Camping

  • Agricampeggio Lago Le Tamerici. This camping is located 30 minutes driving time from the congress centre, but the place is quiet and beautiful. There is a public bus connection on working days, and the camping offers a shuttle service on reservation. Special deal for EGC: basic camping offer 13€ per night, ask info@egc2018.it for details.
  • Torre Pendente Camping Village. This camping is in Pisa, 800 mt from the Leaning Tower, and 42 minutes walking time from the congress centre - a very nice walking, downtown and along the river!

7) Walking distance

If you are concerned about walking distance, please consider that Pisa is very small: the hotel you are considering is very likely less than 30 minutes walking time from the congress centre. We suggest don't putting a big priority on distance, when searching for the accommodation.
