Endgame Tournament

Endgame Tournament

Rules: Players of the Endgame tournament will be given a record from a late position of some interesting games. The two players play out the game themselves, trying to optimise the score of their colour. The game is then counted, players swap colours, then play and count again. The sum of the scores is the final result. It is not important to win a game with both colours. In a lost position, minimising the amount of points you lose by could be enough to pick up a win.

The Endgame Tournament will use a Swiss tournament system. Depending on the number of registrations, it may be played in two sections. The time limit is 15 minutes plus 3x10 seconds byoyomi.
